Industrial Arts education programming provides the foundation for lifelong learning for living/working effectively in a changing technological environment. Participants in Industrial Arts programming work with the mindset of a problem solver using technological tools, materials, and processes to transform real-life concepts and ideas into goods and services. Problems, ideas and concepts are explored from the research/investigation stage to product development and ultimately to the final testing and assessment/evaluation. The changing nature of society and the workplace make the skills and knowledge developed in Industrial Arts education applicable to many other areas of life.

Graphics

Students will learn appropriate usage of imagery and digital media while exploring techniques of graphic design in two and three dimensions.

Specialized programs are offered at the upper grades and may differ from year to year.
