The YMCA-YWCA of Winnipeg is a charitable organization whose purpose is to foster the

We believe that sustaining a healthy partnership between your family, the school, and our child care providers is fundamental to your child’s development. The YMCA-YWCA of Winnipeg École Crane Child Care centre is a provincially licensed child care program, offering school year and inservice care for children Kindergarten-Grade 4, as well as school break care options for children kindergarten-age 12.

Our School Age Child Care Philosophy

Children in our care engage in an emergent learning curriculum. We focus on being responsive to children's interests and creating meaningful learning experiences , which happen naturally through the exploration of their environment as well as through peer and staff-led activities. By exposing children to a variety of experiences and interactions we assist them in developing a variety of skills and sound social relationships. Dedicated to quality service, we focus on family and the importance of providing a stimulating, nurturing and safe environment – a place for your child to learn and grow.

Hours of Operation and Fees:

Before & After School Care 7:00-8:40 am & 3:15-6:00pm $8.60/day

Kinder Care 11:25 am - 6:00 pm $20.80/day

Inservice/Full Day Care 7:00 am - 6:00 pm $20.80/day

* Manitoba Child Care Subsidy and Inclusion Support Program funding are available for qualifying families
