Learning Buddy

Many classes at Bairdmore School are connected through Learning Buddy times. Learning buddies allows our older students an opportunity to be leaders. They get to practice their fluency when reading aloud to their buddy, teach and practice numeracy and literacy skills to the younger learners, help them with projects that may be too tricky to do by themselves, and model great learning behaviors. Learning Buddies is a beautiful time for students to practice communication and critical thinking while building a sense of community and connection throughout Bairdmore School.  It’s also fun to co-operate with others we may not know well!
