Try Like Terry - Arthur A. Leach Raises Over $1200 for Cancer Research!

A group of grade 6 students took the initiative of planning this year’s annual Terry Fox Run. It was an incredible success! 

They organized multiple school-wide events including a community run, a virtual visit from Terry Fox’s brother, Fred Fox, and set a school goal to raise $1000.  

Lancers stepped up to the challenge and surpassed the goal, raising a total of $1254.55 for the Terry Fox Foundation!!  

This calls for celebrations!! 

-A pizza party for the top fundraising class – Congratulations 7-1 Clark! 

-Free Terry Fox t-shirts for the Top 3 individual fundraisers – A huge thank-you to Beckett, Veer, and Celeste! 

-And the whole school will be enjoying free Kernels popcorn and a movie afternoon on November 23rd!
