Westdale Wishes Westgrove Family Resource Centre a Happy Holiday

Thank You Wildcats!

From December 1-4 our students raised $776.00 to donate to the Westgrove Family Centre.  This money will go towards stocking stuffers for the many Food Hampers that will be handed out this year.  Thank you for your generous contributions.

The Westgrove Family Resource Centre operated by Family Dynamics and funded by the United Way, the Winnipeg Foundation, and Manitoba Department of Families.  They are located at 76-D Westgrove Way (204.832.3770) and offer a variety of programming including: community kitchens, family fun nights, drop-in programming, public access computers, used clothing depots, breakfast clubs, youth programming, information, support, and referrals.  This Centre provides amazing services to our community, supporting children and families. Although they have had to make some changes to their programming this year, they have remained an important support to many families and are creatively looking for ways to continue high value programming.  Please see the link on the right to view their December Community Newsletter.  They have some great events planned, including a Polar Express Night on December 21^st.
