November is Financial Literacy Month
November is Financial Literacy Month in Manitoba. This proclamation is intended to support students, teachers and schools in continuing to build awareness of the importance of financial literacy for all Manitoba students.
Interdisciplinary opportunities for students to enhance their personal financial literacy are integrated throughout the Kindergarten to Grade 12 curriculum. A variety of valuable financial literacy resources are available to support learning, including:
- Money and Youth, a guide to financial literacy for youth ages 14 and up from the Canadian Foundation for Economic Education. (https://moneyandyouth.com)
