Apply for Manitoba’s 2026-2027 Student Advisory Council

Calling all students entering Grade 9 to 12 in fall 2026! You have important insights on what matters most in our school classrooms and communities, and Manitoba’s Department of Education and Early Childhood Learning wants to hear your perspectives and experiences through the 2026-2027 Student Advisory Council.

The Student Advisory Council is made up of 30 high school students from across the province. Students serve a one-year term and participate in virtual, after-hours consultations throughout the school year on current and emerging topics related to Kindergarten to Grade 12 education. Participants’ input is compiled in a final report provided to the Minister of Education and Early Childhood Learning at the end of the 2026-2027 school year.

At the end of the year, students are presented with a certificate of participation for their contributions.

Learn more and apply by June 30 on the Province of Manitoba website.
