Rhythm & Roots - Celebrating Black History at PTC

Pembina Trails Collegiate hosted an incredible event named Rhythm & Roots on February 21st. This event celebrated Black History Month by bringing together many performers, speakers, musicians, singers, fashion artists, poets and more. PTC welcomed students from Institut collégial Vincent Massey Collegiate, Shaftesbury High School and Grant Park High School. A true sign of unity and collaboration shined at the event!

We acknowledge the rich history and contributions of Black Canadians, reinforcing our commitment to equity and inclusion. Events such as 'Rhythm & Roots' and 'Diversify' demonstrate that our communities are diverse at many levels. Learning and celebrating these communities brings a sense of understanding and inspiration to all.
