Paper Cranes for Peace
With Remembrance Day on our minds and so much unrest throughout the world currently we here at AHS decided to embark on a makerspace project or origami paper cranes for peace. Students have been learning about the history of origami cranes and folding away to their hearts content over the last week and a bit.
We learned about Sadako Sasaki, and the Hiroshima peace cranes as well as why it is a thousand origami cranes, senbazuru, that need to made in order to have your wish or eternal good luck bestowed upon you.
