LM Is Over the Moon For Reading

February is a special time in our school because the whole month is dedicated to stories, literacy, and activities that celebrate the joy and power of reading. Books can take us on adventures, help us learn new things, and let us meet characters we’ll never forget. We can travel to space, explore jungles, solve mysteries, or even talk to animals, all by opening a book.

This year, our theme, Over the Moon for Reading, is inspired by our learning of the 13 grandmother moons. Various activities, contests, and challenges will take place over the course of the month to highlight this theme.
