Students in Pembina Trails
are encouraged to attend their “neighbourhood school” – a school within their
catchment area. To determine your neighbourhood school, please use our School Locator link. If you live outside
of the Westgrove School catchment area and would like to register your child at
our school, you may submit a Schools of Choice request.

happy to answer any questions you may have. Our registration form is available
in the Related Links for you to download. Appointments to complete the
registration process can be made by contacting the school office.
Information regarding transportation is available by contacting
the Pembina Trails School Division.
Kindergarten Registration Information:
If your child is five years
old on or before December 31, they are eligible to register for kindergarten
for the following school year. Our Kindergarten Information Evening is held in
February of each year. Please plan to attend if you would like to learn more
about the kindergarten program and our school. Watch for advertising about our
information evening on our website, community signage or in your local

Your child's birth certificate
Your child's Manitoba Health information (9
digit personal identification number)
Name and phone number of an emergency contact
Parent/guardian home and work phone number
Proof of Address
If you are unable to attend
this orientation, please call the school and inquire directly. Registration
packages are available at the school and information on school registration
procedures can be obtained by contacting the school secretary.
Please note: If your child has any
medical needs or concerns (nut allergy, asthma, etc.) please clearly indicate
the health concern on the registration form and check with one of the school
secretaries to ensure the necessary medical papers are prepared before your
child starts school. If medication or medical treatment is required, we may
request that an authorization form be completed by your doctor.
Your child is most likely
to succeed in school when you, as a parent or guardian, are informed and involved
in their education. Westgrove School staff recognizes and celebrates strong
