Ryerson's Association of Parents and Teachers (RAPT) consists of parents, guardians, community members and school staff who work collaboratively to address the needs, issues and concerns that impact the Ryerson School community and its student learners.
At the root of this partnership is participation, involvement and responsibility in the education process and student learning. RAPT members are advocates for the use of 21st century curriculum, whole school learning activities, initiatives for welcoming new students and special events.

What Do We Do?
Executive meetings are held monthly at the school to discuss important school-related events, policies, programs and activities. Annual general meetings are held two times a year, in the fall and spring. All parents are encouraged to attend.
RAPT engages in several fundraising activities which have included Show and Save Books, bake sales and raffles . All proceeds of these fundraisers are used to support students’ school experiences.
Recently, RAPT raised several hundreds of thousands of dollars for a playground enhancement project. Their work has made a huge difference in the opportunities our students have in outdoor play.
RAPT is always looking for new members. Call the school and get further information to join our group.
