
In
our Foods and Nutrition programming students learn about kitchen and food
safety, measurement and how to prepare nutritious snacks and meals at home.
They work together in a team to prepare and follow recipes. Recipes are
carefully selected to follow Canada’s Food Guide to ensure that students
understand the nutrients that a body needs to stay healthy. Students gain the
confidence to apply these skills in their daily life and don’t be surprised mom
or dad if they offer to cook for you!
