Who can apply?
• Any current, full-time, part-time student of an accredited or non-accredited institute, truck driving school or other logistics program, must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 to become eligible.

Award Amount: $1,000 for Darryl Dacombe Memorial Scholarship & $500 for Ron Dixson Memorial Technical Scholarship
Who can apply?
• Manitoba residents aged 18 – 25
• Applicants must have diagnosed epilepsy or seizure disorder
• Must be a member in good standing of the Epilepsy and Seizure Association of Manitoba at the time of scholarship application. 
• Award holders must be prepared to enter or be currently enrolled in a post-secondary training institution in the academic year of application.
• Evaluations will be based on a combination of the applicant's essay, grades, extracurricular activities, and financial need.

What will I have to do?

Business Council of Manitoba: Aboriginal Education Awards Program

Deadline: March 
Award Amount:
• Each award is up to a maximum of $3,000 for university and $2,000 for college students.
• All applicants are eligible to reapply each year of their studies for a maximum of three years.
• Recipients of the awards may be considered for summer and/or part-time employment with one of the Business Council’s member companies.
Who can apply?
• Students of Aboriginal ancestry who are permanent residents of Manitoba and have resided in Manitoba for the last 12 months.
• Must be enrolled or plan to enroll in a Manitoba public post – secondary institution in the upcoming academic year, in any discipline (trades, business, general studies, science, etc.), and maintain full – time student status (at least a 60% course load)
• Must be in need of financial assistance.

Who can apply?
• You must be a member of Sunova Credit Union to apply.
• Applicants must either be:

o A high school student graduating grade 12 in current year.
o A post-secondary student under 24 years old as of June 30, 2020
What will I have to do?
• You will need to attach the following with your application:

o Proof of application to an accredited post-secondary institution in Manitoba. (Any accredited post-secondary institution, including community college or vocational school, will be acceptable).
o An up-to-date resume.
o A letter of recommendation from a former teacher, coach, or employer.
o A letter of recommendation from a charity or organization that the applicant is currently involved with.
o Your 1000-word essay answering the question: ‘How will you use your education to improve your community while embodying Sunova’s culture code?’
• Be willing to have your name and photo published, and participate in the promotion of the program if you’re selected as the successful candidate.

Award Amount: $1,100 - $2,250.
Who can apply? 
• Students that have at least an 85% final Grade 12 award average, and 
• Submitted a complete application for admission including payment by March 1st
• Enroll in a minimum of 12 credit hours for the Fall/Winter 
• Have not received a UW Entrance award valued at more than $5,000.
What will I have to do? 
• The Special Entrance Scholarships are automatically offered to Grade 12 graduating students coming directly from a high school in Canada, and to international students from the United States, or those studying Canadian curriculum abroad. These scholarships are offered without the necessity of a scholarship application.
