They have dedicated their careers to supporting our learners. On behalf of the Pembina Trails School Division Board of Trustees and Senior Administration team, we would like to sincerely thank our 2021 retirees.

We have 82 staff members retiring. Together, the group has worked an impressive 1,969.5 years. The longest-serving is a teacher who is ending a 47-year career.

The last year of their career has been challenging, given the current pandemic, but will certainly be one to remember. Our retirees include many people in many roles, including but not limited to, bus drivers, educational assistants, principals, teachers and secretaries. These valued staff members have all played important roles in supporting our students to #AccomplishAnything.

“Each one of you has contributed to our community and public education in Manitoba. We know that you are leaving Pembina Trails with many memories, experiences and friendships. We wish you health and happiness in the years to come,” shared Kathleen McMillan, Chair of the Board, Pembina Trails School Division.

Before COVID-19, our board would host a special evening of appreciation. Given the current health restrictions, the annual event was not held. We have found other ways to show our appreciation to these valued staff members who have all played important roles in supporting our students to #AccomplishAnything.
