Thank YOU for Making a Difference

Students in 5/6 have made friendship bracelets to collect donations for refugees fleeing Ukraine. Laidlaw students made generous donates to receive two bracelets, one for themselves and one for a friend, an act of kindness. Students volunteered to stay in over recess and lunch to make bracelets. Our group of four students turned into most of the 5/6's pitching in to help. Kindness spread quickly and the bracelets were a hit! A great symbolic gesture for friendship. There was an overwhelming turnout at all grades and over only three days, they raised approx. $1 200.00. Thank you to all who helped and donated!
