The Kindness Project

Kindness can be spread in so many ways!! Our Kindness Project Club, led by the Social Justice Team at Laidlaw (Mrs. Wog, Mrs. Aiello, and Ms. Lavoie) is spreading this kindness through making cards and sending hand-written messages in them. At lunchtime, the students use their creativity to make cards to give to others to inspire them, make their day and to send a thoughtful wish. We have already put smiles on the faces at Oak Table with our pumpkin cards for Thanksgiving. We are making cards now to accompany the coffee donations being sent to Oak Table. Our future Kindness Project plans are to make affirmation cards to go to Manitoba Harvest to be placed in their breakfast kits. These kits go home with children on Friday to ensure they have a meal over the weekend and a positive thought to read.

How are you going to spread your kindness?
