Genius Hour raises money for Siloam Mission
What started as a fun and simple Genius Hour project has turned into a sucessful fundraiser. The Grade 4 students in Mrs. Pfahl’s class have been busy doing “Genius Hour” projects beginning just before we went into remote learning. The students each got to pick a topic of choice to research. In this case, Alamu in 4P chose to learn about homelessness in Winnipeg. As her final project, she made educational books on homelessness using the app Book Creator. She decided to get them printed and is selling them to raise money for Siloam Mission. What a great initiative she took to make a difference in our city! Way to go, Alamu!
