Connecting and building community

Grade Two students were busy making connections and building community this year. The children spend a lot of time together learning, growing and demonstrating their caring hearts. We made heart-felt cards for the hospital staff, police officers, firefighters, and people in personal care homes. We worked together and had fun with school events such as N.E.D., Fort Whyte, Dance in the Park, Madame Diva, Zoo field trip, PJ days as well as many other spirit days. We were treated to guest readers such as Officer Peter and Olympian Kelsey Wog. We are looking forward to the Playday!
