Holiday Shoe Boxes

For the past couple weeks, students at Beaverlodge have been packing holiday shoeboxes to support children and families through the Westgrove Family Resource Centre. A huge thank you to our school community who supported this project through our pajama day fundraiser as well as the item donations that were sent in. We raised a total of $192.55 for the project and had lots of great items to add to our boxes. Thank you!! We packed a total of 73 shoeboxes for 28 families and they were picked up early on Wednesday December 22 before we all left for a holiday break. A special thank you to Mrs. Perks, a former Beaverlodge staff member, who comes back each year to organize and support our students with this project. We have such a great community here at Beaverlodge!
