Supporting Pembina Trails Voices

Music, as a universal human expression, has a unique ability to educate, to bring down cultural barriers and enrich lives. Providing an exceptional choral experience comes at a cost, and could not be accomplished without the valuable support of the wider community.

With over 300 registered choristers from kindergraten through grade 12, Pembina Trails Voices is the largest program of its kind in Manitoba. As a non-profit program of Pembina Trails School Division, we are partially supported by the division, while the majority of our funding comes from individual registration costs, ticket sales and fundraising. The financial support you provide will go towards initiatives such as our concert tour fund, hiring trained musicians and clinicians, uniforms and a bursary fund to help offset costs for talented students in financial need.

The Impact of Your Support

  • Demonstrates community spirit and provides youth in Pembina Trails the opportunity to participate in their love of singing.
  • Supports and fosters the arts and choral music within the Pembina Trails community.
  • Enables youth, whose families could not otherwise afford to join, to participate in Pembina Trails Voices.
  • Enhances the learning of our young choristers, including leadership experience and the chance to take part in local, national and international competitions.
  • Supports the rental of local venues for rehearsals and performances, and the purchase of music for our choirs.
  • Supports essential activities of Pembina Trails Voices such as:
  • Participation in local, national and international tours, choral festivals, competitions and workshops.
  • Hiring conductors, pianists, guest clinicians, and performance professionals.
  • Helps in the purchase and maintenance of uniforms for all choirs.
