In Pembina Trails,  we recognize that student education is strengthened by engaging with Indigenous learners, knowledge and history. We believe that as Canadians we are all Treaty people, and through the Calls to Action for the Truth and Reconciliation we have the opportunity to help Canada achieve its full potential.

Our Indigenous Student Success teachers assist in gathering family and student voices to assist the division and our schools in navigating the needs of our Indigenous youth. We promote cultural events and gatherings within the community. We provide off-campus opportunities for families and students to envision and explore opportunities.

Our goal is to continue building and strengthening the Indigenous community encompassed in our division – and we’re always happy to hear your ideas.
