Each year, Pembina Trails’ Board of Trustees must rise to the challenge of stretching every dollar of public money to maximize the impact of our budget and ensure we continue to provide quality education.

Knowing that we are responsible for a student population of more than 14,000 in 34 schools makes this a big – and very important – job.

To help our students succeed we must invest in exceptional resources, programs and staffing across the division. Our annual budget aims to reflect investments which support our Three Expectations for Student Learning:

  •  Enhancing engagement
  •  Literacy and numeracy
  •  Graduation

We value pre-budget community consultation, and our trustees truly want to hear from you. What are your thoughts on the 2018-19 budget? Are there priorities you would like to see addressed? Send us your comments and questions to budget@pembinatrails.ca

Revenue, expenditures and property tax impact information will be shared at our board meeting on Thursday, February 8, 2018.  As always, anyone wanting to appear before the board at our February 22, 2018 meeting must email their notice to appear and written presentation to E. Vickers at evickers@pembinatrails by Thursday, February 15, 2018.
