Manitoba’s Chief Public Health Officer has recently issued guidelines that can be used to move forward with the reopening of play structures on school grounds.  With these recommendations in mind, Pembina Trails is now allowing community members to use equipment at their own risk.

In March, all play equipment, including basketball hoops, on Pembina Trails school properties were closed off to the public, in order to limit the spread of COVID-19. The temporary closure, supported the Province of Manitoba’s social distancing directive and also followed the recommendations set out by the Manitoba School Boards Association.

During the week of May 11, 2020 Pembina Trails staff will begin updating signage on each of our school properties. We ask that social distancing is followed while on school division property.  Please also take a moment to become familiar with the COVID-19 safety protocols below.

We would like to thank you in advance for your understanding and cooperation.
