We are pleased to host an afternoon of music and Indigenous youth empowerment in support of the United Way Community Fund. This will be a benefit concert with real heart.
The audience will be treated to the sound of the Pembina Trails Voices, a nationally recognized and prize-winning choir organization who will be joining forces with two of Winnipeg's most outstanding Indigenous music ensembles - Chuck Copenace on jazz trumpet with his quartet, and Juno-award winning and 18th Annual Native American Music Awards nominee folk pop band Indian City.
“We are always supportive of Indigenous initiatives and this year's charity concert for United Way is a wonderful opportunity to show support,” shared Indian City’s Vince Fontaine.
Join us at The MET Entertainment Centre on Sunday, October 28, 2018. The event begins at 2 p.m. and everyone is welcome to attend.
Tickets are $15 each and can be purchased online. All proceeds go to the United Way Winnipeg.
We look forward to sharing an afternoon of amazing musical performances for a great cause!
