We want to encourage families, who depend on public transportation, to be prepared in case there is a stop in transit services this fall.

As you may know, there have been ongoing contract discussions between the City of Winnipeg and the Amalgamated Transit Union.

As September approaches, we ask parents and guardians of grade 7-12 students to follow the news and prepare for alternative ways for getting to and from school. A potential Winnipeg Transit strike would not impact students in K-6 who qualify for Pembina Trails busing.
