Welcome to the River West Park School website. Our site
is designed to provide a general introduction to our school and to connect
our students and families with the school information they need. River West
Park School is a safe and caring neighbourhood school located south of the
Assiniboine River in Charleswood on the western edge of the City of
Winnipeg. We are part of the Pembina Trails School Division and have been
proud to be River West Park’s community school for over 30 years.
Our mission is to provide quality education in a safe, nurturing,
stimulating environment. As an inclusive school community, we promote
responsibility, respect, team work, and academic excellence. RWP offers the
full English track Manitoba provincial curriculum to students from
Kindergarten to grade 9 in a modern, well-equipped spacious facility. Our
program aims to challenge children academically, cultivate them artistically
and engage them physically while fostering their healthy social-emotional
development in a friendly, community environment.
