There will be some big changes happening at Pembina Trails Voices. Michael Dueck will be joining us as the new director for PTV Men, and Leanne Hiebert will be playing for PTV Men and Boys TCs. With this, we will also say goodbye to Myrna Hagues who has been with PTV for many years. We will miss her behind the piano!
Thank-you for another wonderful season at Pembina Trails Voices. So much has happened this year, from singing with the WSO and the MCO, the fine placing at the Winnipeg Music Festival, and the Boys and Chorale tour to Gimli. Next year promies to be just as eventful, with an upcoming performance tour planned for Cuba in March. Here's to next year!
Also, PTV is happy to announce that Tamara Kroeker will be directing Choraliers in the Fall. Tamara has taught K-6 music for a number of years in St. Andrews and is excited to be part of PTV in the Fall. We're happy to welcome her on board.
Pembina Trails Voices is an award winning choral program affiliated with the Pembina Trails Schools Division in Winnipeg. It's goal is to have students participate in an exciting choral program which values community, self-empowerment, personal growth, hard-work, and a desire and drive to participate in achieving something truly outstanding! PTV is in a unique position to empower students from across the division to come together and create exceptional musical experiences that broaden their own scope of what is possible. The program is for students in kindergarten through grade twelve. Through these performances, PTV also seeks to enrich the cultural life of Pembina Trails and the greater Winnipeg area, and promotes the cultural exchange of music by performing locally, nationally, and internationally.
Come share the excitement! This program is for you if you dream of singing in an award-winning ensemble, working with gifted conductors and meeting others who share your love of singing!
