Program Department

The Program Department is located in the Pembina Trails Administration Office on Henlow Bay and assists school based staff in teaching and learning activities.  These activities include:

• Coordinating and delivering professional learning opportunities;
• Assisting with planning, selection, and development of teaching materials;
• Serving as resource people for materials, contacts, class activities, and current research;
• Working with school learning teams on projects and initiatives;
• Helping staff to network;
• Providing a link to organizations that support teaching and learning and;
• Maintaining the Divisional Program Department website.

The Program Department provides support to schools and the Divisional community through the services of consultants and coordinators in the following areas:

• Early Years
• Middle Years
• French Immersion
• Second Languages
• Physical Education/Health
• Visual Arts
• Aboriginal Education
• Education Technology
• On-Line Learning (InForm Net)
• Music/Band
• Pembina Trails Voices
• Library/Media
