EAL    Mrs. Lodge-Zaparnick (English as a Second/Additional Language)

Dalhousie School has a large ESL/EAL population, and a lively and enriching ESL/EAL program that provides students, families, and our community with a wealth of valuable resources.

BASIC FRENCH PROGRAM - GRADES 4 - 6 Mme. Pelley

Each grade level studies a variety of themes intended to foster a number of strategies that will enable students to comprehend written and spoken French.

At Dalhousie School library it is our mission to create and maintain a welcoming and comfortable learning environment that can serve the diverse students, parents, and teachers of the Dalhousie School Community.  Our doors are always open to all.

Dalhousie School offers music instruction for all grades as part of the school curriculum.
 

PHYSICAL EDUCATION  Mr. Treffner/Mrs. Pienaar

Dalhousie prides itself on offering a quality Physical Education program where kindergarten students receive 90 minutes of activity per 6-day cycle and grade 1-6 students receive 150 minutes of activity per cycle. We have received the prestigious Quality Daily Physical Education national award for the last 3 years and the provincial T.O.B.A. Award (To Benefit All) for the last 2 years.
