DALHOUSIE SCHOOL ADVISORY COUNCIL:

The Dalhousie School Advisory Council is open to all parents, guardians and interested individuals in the community.  The Advisory council provides parents with the opportunity to be involved in school related issues and educational topics.  Although one of the functions of the Council is to do fund raising, the main purpose is to keep parents informed about current issues.  The Council welcomes you to join them at their regular monthly meetings held the second Tuesday of each month.  Check your school newsletter for exact dates.

The Dalhousie School Advisory Council represents the parents and community of Dalhousie Elementary School. Together with the administration and teachers, we work towards enhancing our children's education. The council supports the school in a variety of ways.  This school year, we held the Family Barbecue in September.  This event is a great time for families to come to school informally to meet the teachers and each other.  We also held a Bake Sale during the Christmas concerts, and so were able to help the school raise funds for various projects to enhance the education of our children.

We meet on the second Tuesday of each month in the Staff Room at 7:00 P.M. PLEASE COME!

For more information on the Parent Council, please contact Theresa Hill, president, through the school office or by e-mail at tmhill@mts.net
